Allsop launches its largest online auction catalogue

More than 220 residential and commercial properties are set to go under the virtual hammer following Allsop's announcement of its largest online auction to date.

The property consultants revealed that the buildings will be up for auction on Tuesday 13th September 2016 between 10am and 5.30pm with each lot closing every two minutes.

The auction will feature 118 commercial properties, while 110 residential properties will be available to buy, with over a third of them located in Dublin.

“We are delighted to announce our largest online auction to date with over 220 properties amounting to over €33m [£29m] on reserve,” said Ellen Prenderville of Allsop Online Auctions.

“The range of properties included provides opportunities for owner occupiers and investors in locations throughout Ireland. [This year] has seen continuous expansion of our online auction platform and this auction sees the trend continuing.”

Popular commercial properties available include a mid-terrace retail building in Cork as well as a mixed-use investment in Galway.

A number of pubs are also available in the auction, including a prominent corner public house in Dublin.

As for residential properties, a development in Skerries comprising six apartments is available as well as a portfolio of six two-bedroom apartments in Limerick.

A number of vacant properties are also up for grabs, which include a number of homes and apartments that could attract buy-to-let investors.
