Locke Lord launches Brexit app

International law firm Locke Lord has launched what it claims is one of the first apps to enable businesses to monitor Brexit.

‘Brexit News’ is available for free on iOS devices via Apple’s App Store and will provide up-to-date news, analysis and commentary focusing on how Brexit may impact businesses in the UK and abroad.

The app follows the inauguration of Locke Lord’s Brexit blog in September 2016.

“All of us in London are thrilled to launch the Locke Lord Brexit App in conjunction with our Brexit blog,” stated Alan Meneghetti, partner at Locke Lord’s UK office and co-editor of the Brexit blog.

“We are still awaiting the full implications of Brexit and our team is eager to stay at the forefront of these developments to help clients understand the possible impact it could have on their businesses.”

The app also allows users to contact the Locke Lord Brexit team and read other members’ biographies.

Users can set up automatic push notifications to alert them whenever a new blog post has been added.

Rebecca Watkins, co-editor of the blog, added: “Our blog and iPhone app are great avenues to immediately deliver news and information to our clients and the legal community.”

Founded over 125 years ago, Locke Lord now has more than 20 offices across the United States, Asia and Europe.

The firm’s specialities include consumer finance, insolvency and financial services.
