On 9th November 2016, those attending the fourth annual Finance Professional Show will have the chance to visit the brand new Education Hub that will host informative sessions throughout the day.
The hub will open at 9.30am with a complimentary hour of Breakfast Networking with each of the fully accredited sessions counting as 30 minutes’ worth of structured CPD.
These sessions will feature speakers from Barclays Bank, UK Trade & Investment, The Finance & Leasing Association (FLA), the Institute of Financial Services and MyNACFB.
Simon Goldie, head of asset finance at the FLA, will be speaking about the new asset finance diploma that was launched last month.
“The asset finance diploma has been designed to ensure practitioners, both funders and brokers, are operating at the highest professional standards.”
Speaking about the Education Hub, a representative from MyNACFB added: “The goal of the MyNACFB portal is to ensure we provide you with an easy-to-access, online tool that gives you facts at your fingertips enabling you to upskill your knowledge and demonstrate competency all at the click of a button.
“Our new CPD functionality gives you the ability to assign additional CPD programmes to yourself as and when you need them and, equally importantly, also allows you to add external accredited activities, such as attending any of the training workshops at Finance Professional Show, to your CPD total – all of which hopefully makes reaching your annual CPD target far easier to achieve.”
The Education Hub is just one of many features at this year’s Finance Professional Show with other exhibitors including high street banks, commercial finance providers, second charge mortgage lenders, developer and bridging finance providers, conveyancing firms, unsecured loan specialists and mortgage clubs.
Sponsors for the show, meanwhile, include ezbob, Shawbrook Bank, Funding Circle, Fortwell Capital, Octopus Property, Roma Finance, Kuflink Bridging and Just Cash Flow PLC.
The 2015 show received plenty of praise from exhibitors with D’mitri Zaprzala, head of sales at Octopus Property, stating: "You only have to look around to see every major lender is here and pretty much every major broker is here, either with a stand or seeing other lenders that are here... It's the one that people want to be at. It's the Oscars of the trade shows in our industry."
Neil Molyneux, head of sales and marketing at Masthaven Finance, added: "Not only did we meet existing introducers, but we also made what appears to be extremely useful introductions with several brokers discussing specific cases they wish to place with us."
Rob Jupp, CEO of Brightstar, said: "[We're] very confident that we can do substantial business from the leads generated specifically from the show."
Stephen Burn, co-founder of Adapt Finance, concluded: "The show was the best we've attended.
“A real hall full of, importantly, the right exhibitors, great seminars and educational options."
The Finance Professional is free to attend by registering online.
