The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) has announced that is launching a new initiative to support its members: NACFB Member Services.
According to Adam Tyler, the chief executive of the NACFB, the trade body has been working for over a year towards getting access to ancillary products and services for their brokers to add extra income streams whilst commercial lending continues to slump.
NACFB members will soon be able to introduce business to big firms such as Legal & General, Croner Consulting and Towergate Risk Services, using the Association’s own back office software system, CommercialKeeper (CK).
Additionally, a light version of the CommercialKeeper software, called the CommercialKeeper Referral System, has also been devised, which will be sent to all members and will allow them initially to introduce business to these companies.
Mr Tyler said: “In the next few weeks we will be rolling out a training programme to all members to make sure they understand the products they are introducing and can spot opportunities. This offers a huge potential benefit to members and hopefully in time we will be able to add other providers on to our panel.”
Clare Harrop, Head of Specialist Protection at Legal & General, commented: “I am extremely pleased that the NACFB have chosen us as their protection provider. At Legal & General we pride ourselves on offering great service and advice for life assurance. This deal opens up new opportunities for introducers to see a significant increase in earnings. I would encourage NACFB members to attend the training days to fully understand the full potential.”
