Cheval CEO leaves to head up bridging finance at United Trust Bank

Short term specialist lender Cheval has announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Alan Margolis, is to leave the company at the end of February.

The Watford-based bridging specialist, who brokers voted Bridging & Commercial’s Bridger of the Year 2009, has commenced interviewing for his replacement and a new CEO appointment is expected to be made during February.

Mr Margolis has been with the company for 13 years, but has decided to leave in order to pursue a new opportunity with United Trust Bank.

Cheval Director, Allan Kay, commented: “We are naturally disappointed that Alan is leaving, but wish him well in his future career.”

Mr Margolis added: “I will be sorry to leave Cheval after so many years, but I am looking forward to my new opportunity.”
