It seems you can get an iPhone application for all manner of things these days… Just a few weeks after a payday loan company launched the first iPhone application which lets users take out short term loans of hundreds of pounds to tide them over until pay day, property portal FindaProperty.com has introduced its own app.
Promising to bring the firm’s search functionality to the brave new world of mobile home hunting, the app has a number of new features not available on other property portal applications.
Available to download for free from the Apple App store, it enables users to display all sales and rental property listings on a map and browse directions to each property.
The app also syncs with a user’s FindaProperty.com online account so that searches on both the iPhone and a PC are saved for later reference securely in one place.
Other features of the app include property and agent search, meaning users can perform a location search using the GPS device and find properties and agents close by, and the ability to see floor plans in addition to property images
Chris Boorman, Head of Product Development at FindaProperty.com, said: “Following an extensive research and development process we have come up with a unique application which will greatly aid iPhone users looking for a new home in the UK. The ability to perform a search from any location and see properties displayed on a map, and then search directions using the GPS device, will not only save time but will also give house hunters a broader picture of what is available in their search area.”
