Bridging & Commercial, the definitive title of the specialist finance sector, has announced that it is holding its first awards ceremony this summer.
The event will be sponsored by some of the main players in the bridging finance world: Affirmative Finance, Cheval, Drawbridge Finance, Lancashire Mortgage Corporation and Masthaven.
The awards ceremony will take place on the 23rd of June at the five-star Grange City hotel in the City of London and promises to be unlike any awards ceremony you’ve ever attended.
The casual-business dress event will begin at midday, where guests will be seated at round tables for drinks. The awards will be given out and presentations made, followed by a gourmet three-course meal. Then for the real piece de resistance: a live screening of the World Cup football match England v Slovenia, shown on two giant screens set up in the main room.
As for the awards, brokers are able to submit their nominations for the 13 titles being handed out. Bridging Lender of the Year, as always, will be wholly voted for by Bridging & Commercial readers.
For the rest of the awards, the winners will be selected from your nominations by our panel of experts, which we can exclusively reveal to be Adrian Bloomfield, chief executive of the Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL); Adam Tyler, chief executive of the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB); Ray Cohen, ASTL associate and compliance expert and Mo Mulki, Bridging & Commercial director.
The awards are:
- Bridging Lender of the Year

- Best Regional Bridging Lender
- Best Scottish Bridging Provider
