AI mortgage tech firm LendWell partners with SPF Private Clients to target UK growth

AI mortgage technology company LendWell has signed a multi-year agreement with SPF Private Clients (SPF), marking a significant step in its UK expansion.

Implementation is now under way, with a broader rollout planned for 2027.

LendWell is working with SPF to implement the platform around its operating model, systems and requirements across mortgage and protection.

The tech firm will implement AI across SPF’s mortgage and protection journeys, using the context of each case to prepare documentation, manage follow-up and coordinate the work needed to progress it to submission.

This approach aims to give advisers more capacity to serve clients and enable SPF to grow without a corresponding increase in administrative workload.

Jamie Lawless, co-founder and CEO of LendWell, commented: “Mortgage technology has spent years digitising processes, but digitising manual work isn’t the same as removing it.

“Too much mortgage expertise is still consumed by administration.

“By reducing the work around that judgement, mortgage businesses can create more capacity to grow and advisers can spend more time with their clients.

The SPF agreement follows LendWell’s deployment with Irish mortgage broker Finance Solutions, part of Howden Ireland.
