Aldermore appoints new BDM to commercial real estate team

Aldermore has appointed Andy Porter (pictured above) as BDM within its commercial real estate (CRE) team, further strengthening its property development proposition.

Andy brings more than 20 years of experience across property finance, commercial banking and credit risk.

He joins Aldermore from United Trust Bank (UTB), where he was senior director of property development.

Throughout his career, Andy has worked closely with property investors and developers, supporting projects of varying sizes and complexities and helping customers secure funding to bring their plans to life.

Before joining UTB, he spent more than 12 years at Close Brothers Property Finance, progressing from senior BDM to business development director.

Andy has also held senior roles at Barclays and RBS, where he worked across corporate banking, relationship management and credit risk.
