Aldermore expands commercial real estate team with new BDM

Aldermore has appointed James Evans as a business development manager within its Commercial Real Estate team.

James joins Aldermore from Nexa Finance, where he was a BDM supporting customers with development finance. He has also held senior roles at StreamBank and Assetz Capital, specialising in development, bridging and property finance.

Before moving into specialist lending, he spent more than 17 years at Santander in a number of relationship management and director-level roles. He worked closely with property investors, developers and commercial customers, supporting a range of property transactions across the North West and wider UK market.

"James brings a wealth of experience across both traditional banking and specialist property finance, along with a strong understanding of the market in the North of England,” said Azfar Rizvi, Commercial Director for Corporate and Commercial Lending at Aldermore. “His appointment further strengthens our Commercial Real Estate team and enhances the support we provide to brokers and customers across the region.”
