Allica Bank has extended its commercial mortgage arrangement fee waiver until the end of 2026.
The offer, which was launched this summer and was due to end on 30th September, will now run until 31st December 2026.
The extended offer waives arrangement fees of 1.5% on owner-occupied mortgages from £750,000, and 2% on commercial investment mortgages from £750,000 and specialist BTL mortgages from £1.5m for all eligible new applications submitted until end of 2026.
Allica said it has extended the waiver to continue supporting brokers and established businesses as market conditions put pressure on commercial mortgage pricing.
In response to changes in swap rates and wider market pricing, from 24th September, Allica will also be increasing its rates by 0.45% across all fixed-rate commercial mortgages.
Nick Baker, CCO at Allica Bank (pictured above), said: “Movements in swap rates mean we need to make a change to our fixed-rate commercial mortgage and specialist BTL pricing.
“We know brokers are seeing the same pressures across the market, so we also want to be practical about where we can continue to support them and their clients.
“Extending our arrangement fee waivers until the end of the year is one way we can do that, helping brokers to keep getting deals over the line and established businesses investing and growing.”
