Alternative Bridging recruits new BDM

Simon Michael joins from Robert Sterling Financial Solutions having served there as a mortgage consultant since September 2012.
Prior to this, Simon worked as a business lending officer for Greek Cypriot investment bank Laiki.

In his new role, Simon will assist business development director Mike Jones in securing new business within the London and M25 area.
Jonathan Rubins, chief executive of Alternative, said: “Simon's appointment is testament to the continued growth of Alternative's business.
“Simon is a highly experienced mortgage adviser with commercial lending know-how [and] expertise as well as a very good understanding of the bridging market, having arranged such finance working in the bank and also arranging bridging finance for his clients as a mortgage broker.”
The appointment comes just a week after Alternative highlighted a gap in the market for loans between £5m and £20m.
