Alternative Bridging recruits two ex-Fortwell managers

Dena Thompson joins Alternative Bridging as head of underwriting, having spent over four years as underwriting and credit manager at Fortwell Capital.

Dena has over 15 years’ experience working for various mortgage lenders, including Tiuta and UX Mortgages.

Nicky Pack joins as senior underwriter after a four-year stint as portfolio manager at Fortwell Capital.

Jonathan Rubins, chief executive officer of Alternative Bridging, said: “Both Dena and Nicky are terrific additions to our underwriting team.

In her new role, Dena will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the underwriting team, building relationships with Alternative Bridging’s partners and ensuring that both the borrower and lender are protected at all times.

The pair’s appointment comes just weeks after Alternative Bridging completed a number of substantial loans.

The company claimed that Brexit had served as a wake-up call to borrowers and their advisers.

Omni Capital rebranded to Fortwell Capital in February 2016.
