Aspen invests in team with new grad hires

Company says appointments will help meet growth targets

Aspen has appointed four new hires to its graduate recruitment scheme.

Cameron Ritchie joins the business as an underwriter with additional responsibility for data quality, as the company prepares the ground for new funding arrangements. He is a graduate of the University of Bath and also holds a master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Birmingham.

Sofia Dantas joins the business as its first dedicated marketing recruit through the scheme, where she will work to further bolster Aspens brand recognition. She holds a first-class honours degree in Psychology from the University of Warwick.

Daniel Moore, who achieved a 2:1 in Economics at University of Bristol and has just completed a masters in Project Management at Aston University, and Harvir Singh, who has a first class honours degree in Mathematics from The University of Manchester, both join as Trainee Credit Analysts.

The appointments bring Aspen’s graduate scheme intake to 26 in total. Previous members of the scheme have progressed to leadership positions, such as Saif Khalique, who was recently promoted to Director of Underwriting.

“Achieving our ambitious growth targets requires us to continue investing in talented people, and our GRS has established itself as a proven route in attracting bright, ambitious graduates and developing them into future leaders of the business,” said Jack Coombs, chief operation officer at Aspen’s parent company S&U Plc.
