The Association of Short Term Lenders has announced further details of its third Annual Conference...

After the success of the Conference over the last two years, attendance has grown and the ASTL anticipates up to 200 people attending this year’s event at Painters’ Hall in East London.

The Conference, entitled “Bridging – Problems and Solutions”, costs £150 including lunch and is a must for those interested in bridging.

Benson Hersch, CEO of the ASTL, said the confidence was high in the bridging sector at the moment and members were increasing their levels of lending every quarter.

“However the market is not without its challenges; uncertainty in Europe, increasing levels of regulation and the implementation of the Mortgage Credit Directive are all likely to have an effect on the bridging market,” said Benson.

“The ASTL Conference will tackle all of these challenges and more with some challenging new speakers as well as others who are more familiar.”

“The new timings, from 9am-1pm followed by lunch, we hope will be more convenient for people who can then return to work or arrange meetings in London.”
