At the forefront of the bridging market

The programme is supported by Goldman Sachs Private Capital and will run until January 2021, with the underlying loans drawn from across Together’s portfolio.
The news follows my previous blog regarding the focus we are putting on bridging as a company in 2017.
We saw significant growth in our commercial bridging lending last year here at Together, and we’re in no doubt that there’s clear demand for this product, particularly in the current property market.
Overall, we lent a total of £572.3m of bridging finance in the 12 months to 30th September 2016, and the additional funding is part of our growth plans to exceed this amount in 2017.
Bridging finance serves a wide variety of purposes – be it to avoid a property-chain break, to secure your purchase quickly and beat the competition, to fund business expansion or to consolidate debts – and we only see this demand continuing to grow this year.
Our range of bridging products also covers regulated bridging, which now allows cross-charging, enabling homeowners to leverage any equity in their current property as well as the new purchase.
We anticipate strong demand in the year ahead and it’s an extremely exciting time for the bridging industry.
We’re looking forward to working with our broker partners to help deliver the short-term funding their clients need, and to cement our position as a leading provider of bridging finance.
