B&C Awards 2016 shortlist revealed

Key industry companies and individuals have been shortlisted to stand a chance to win one of the industry’s most prestigious awards.
Major lenders and brokers in the bridging, commercial, peer-to-peer, specialist banking and development finance markets were tasked with narrowing down a long list of the top ten nominees in each category, as voted for online.
The shortlist includes new two categories ‘Bridging Business Partner of the Year’ and ‘Specialist Bank of the Year’.
2015’s Bridging Lender of the Year, Amicus, has been shortlisted again this year for the coveted title, coming up against fellow nominees Together, Masthaven, Dragonfly Property Finance, Precise Mortgages, United Trust Bank and MTF.
SPF Short Term Finance has also been shortlisted for Best Development Broker after being highly commended for the same category last year, facing tough competition from Crystal Specialist Finance, Finance 4 Business, Brightstar Financial, Adapt Finance and Positive Commercial Finance.
Will Shawbrook take the Commercial Lender of the Year crown for the fourth year running? This year, the bank is up against heavyweights Together, Dragonfly Property Finance, Aldermore, Norwich & Peterborough, InterBay, Alternative Bridging Corporation and Market Financial Solutions.
The judging panels will deliberate on 20th May to determine the winners and highly commended in each of the 16 categories.
The names of the winners will be kept a closely-guarded secret until this year’s ceremony held at The Hurlingham Club on 9th June.
