borro hosts exclusive NACFB Workshop

The UK's leading personal asset lender is hosting a free workshop at its Central London offices and valuation centre, exclusively for NACFB broker

The UK’s leading personal asset lender is hosting a free workshop at its Central London offices and valuation centre, exclusively for NACFB broker members.

borro lends £1,000  to £1million on personal assets, such as luxury cars, fine art and wine, diamond jewellery, gold, antiques and watches. The workshop is designed to help intermediaries understand where borro can fit alongside different product offerings, and how its services can complement other financial solutions.

Having seen significant growth over the last 12 months, borro is geared to grow further both in the UK and US, having recently secured an additional £36 million in funding.

One NACFB member who has benefitted from borro’s product offering is Michael Magee, a lender and broker specialising in residential development finance in the South East of England. He approached borro on behalf of his client who urgently needed to raise £300,000 in order to complete funding on a transaction worth £20 million. The client’s bank had originally agreed a facility but at the eleventh hour required a further £300,000 to contribute towards the deal which was potentially on the verge of collapse.

borro was able to lend the client £300,000 secured against  a selection of assets. As it was imperative the deal was done in less than 24 hours, borro arranged collection of the assets, valuation and funds transferred into the client’s account well within the timeframe for the larger deal to go through.

This is just one example; there are numerous ways in which introducers can use borro as a tool for completing deals whilst receiving generous commission for each loan completed. As a patron of the NACFB since 2010, borro would like to invite all NACFB members to its offices to find out more about how this alternative product can best benefit their businesses.

The workshop is in conjunction with the NACFB and will be attended by special guest Adam Tyler, CEO of NACFB, who will be present for networking over tea and coffee amongst top borro representatives.

When:        Wednesday 15th May 2013 from 10:00am to 1:00pm

Where:        Chancery House, 53-64 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1QU
