London-based short and medium term lender, Dragonfly Property Finance, has today announced its biggest ever quarter to date.
During the first three months of the year, Dragonfly completed on 119 loans with a total value of £77 million – its biggest quarter since launching in 2009.
During Q1, Dragonfly also saw 39 loans redeem, with a total value of £37 million. Loan redemption levels are crucial to a lender’s financial strength and reflect the quality of loans on its book.
Jonathan Samuels, CEO of Dragonfly Property Finance, commented: “To lend £77 million in just one quarter is a huge achievement and I would like to thank all our introducers who keep supporting us, and without whom these numbers would be impossible.
“I would also like to congratulate the Dragonfly team, who have been working flat out for three months. We now have our sights set on lending £100 million in a quarter, which, given the strength of demand for our product range, is a very realistic target.”
