Bridging lender strengthens underwriting team

Bridging Finance provider Funding 365 has hired a new experienced underwriter to bolster its expanding team.

George Petrou has a decade of experience in the alternative finance industry, including time at Zopa, Santander, Capstone Mortgages and Money Partners Loans.

Funding 365 Director, Michael Strange, was delighted to welcome George to the firm and believes his wealth of experience will be a key asset for them.

“We’re confident that his wealth of experience and superior level of client servicing will enable us to continue providing our market-leading fast and personal service despite our incredible rate of growth,” Michael said.

Funding 365 Ltd, which was set up in May 2013 by Michael along with structured finance experts Jeff Stolz and Mike Jinn, was founded to provide a unique bridging finance offering with the aim of being the fastest in the market.

Since its foundation, the team has collected a very mixed portfolio of bridging loans secured against residential buy-to-let, commercial and development properties across England and Wales.

Funding 365 now hopes that the new appointment to the underwriting team will help the firm build on its current success.
