The two four-star hotels, comprising a combined total of 510 beds, are both in city-centre locations.

The refinancing supports a wider restructuring involving four UK hotel assets with a total value of £240m.

Matt Thame, founder of Cohort Capital (pictured above), commented: “These are strong-performing assets in locations well insulated from fluctuations in the hospitality market.

“The ownership team has a clear growth vision, and we are pleased to support them.

“Our private capital backing and experienced team allow us to act decisively and deploy capital swiftly.”

Matt continued: “This latest deal demonstrates our ability to provide bespoke capital solutions at pace.

“We are pleased we could step in to deliver a fast, tailored refinancing solution that met the borrower’s objectives.”

Cohort Capital has now deployed over £300m in hotel loans, including its landmark £73m financing of the NoMad Hotel in London’s Covent Garden.

The firm reported that it expects to close a further £150m in lending in July, £70m of which is likely to be in the hospitality market in Central London.
