Dragonfly Property Finance has announced two new appointments.
The short and medium term lender has hired Hannah Mason as Operation Manager and Sam Wisker as an Internal Business Development Manager (IBDM).
Hannah has over 11 years’ experience in the financial services industry and most recently worked as a transaction specialist at Credit Suisse, where she made sure all that trades were accurately reported to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
She will be looking to further improve Dragonfly’s core processes and procedures as well as ensuring that brokers receive a more streamlined service.
Sam recently graduated from Bristol University where he studied Economics and Management.
In his role as an IBDM, he will make sure that applications run smoothly and reach completion as quickly as possible.
Mark Posniak, Managing Director, Dragonfly Property Finance, said: “Hannah and Sam are both great additions to our rapidly expanding team.
“Hannah’s extensive experience within the financial services industry, and knowledge of the FCA, will ensure she brings new insights to the way we work and the processes we have in place.
“Sam, meanwhile, represents our commitment to bringing new blood into the industry.
“Even though he’s only at the beginning of his career, he has the ability to make a mark of his own.”
Hannah said: “I have always wanted to work for a smaller company where I could have more input into the way it operates, and with Dragonfly that has finally happened.
“Dragonfly is already an exceptionally well-run ship, but I hope to be able to further improve its processes and procedures in order to deliver an even better service to brokers, their clients and all our partners.”
Sam said: “When applying for graduate positions, Dragonfly stood out as a great company to work for.
“It was immediately clear that they have an exceptional track record and a clear vision for the future, and for someone at the beginning of their career that’s a huge draw.
“I was specifically looking for a job that was challenging and fast-paced, and working for Dragonfly is certainly that.”
Earlier this month, Dragonfly announced plans to rebrand as Octopus Property Finance to reflect its parent company’s growing activity in the property sector.
