The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has just announced it is has a new job opening after its Policy Analyst, Alex Revell, has left to join the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Alex Revell, who has spent five years in policy analysis at AMI, is leaving to join the regulator as a Senior Associate of the Sector Support team.

Commenting on the move, Robert Sinclair, Chief Executive of AMI, said: "This is the third AMI policy person who has left to join the regulator. I am delighted for Alex who has grown during his time with AMI and know that he will continue to champion the right thing for consumers as he develops his career.

“Alex will be missed by the whole AMI family, but the knowledge he takes to the FCA will benefit the wider industry.”

Robert added: “This also gives us the opportunity to recruit a new senior policy analyst to ensure that the intermediary broker market is professionally represented as we absorb the challenges of the new consumer credit regime and the European mortgage directive.

“AMI is interested in hearing from individuals who have a background in compliance, or mortgages, or public policy, who are looking to broaden their knowledge and hone their communication skills.”
