FundingSearch unveils AI product builder to eliminate manual onboarding for lenders

FundingSearch has launched its Product Builder, an AI-powered tool that converts lender credit policies into live, structured product listings without manual data entry.

The Product Builder aims to address a long-standing barrier to digital distribution in UK commercial finance.

FundingSearch said the Product Builder means lenders won’t need to re-enter detailed credit policies, underwriting criteria and rate documentation onto onboarding forms.

To use the Product Builder, lenders submit their existing documentation, which may include credit policy files, rate charts, presentation decks, PDFs and product tables.

The platform’s AI layer then extracts, structures and prepares a product listing for review. The lender’s credit team retains full approval authority before anything is published.

Crucially, the underlying credit policy and underwriting criteria remain confidential at all times. The system uses this information solely to power its matching engine.

Brokers and borrowers receive only a brief eligibility confirmation when a match is identified, with no proprietary lending criteria disclosed.
