GB Bank has enhanced its bridging refurbishment finance proposition, designed to help property investors and developers with residential and mixed-use assets.
Refurbishment rates start from just 0.79% per month.
The offering builds on the bank's growing bridging proposition and provides funding for light and medium refurbishment projects, supporting borrowers looking to improve, reposition or enhance properties before sale, refinance or retention.
The proposition is suitable for cosmetic upgrades such as new kitchens, bathrooms, windows and heating systems as well as more extensive works including loft conversions, small extensions and other value-add improvements that do not require major structural alterations.
GB Bank can now provide funding for up to 100% of refurbishment costs, subject to criteria, alongside flexible staged drawdowns that align funding with project milestones.
Borrowers can also benefit from rolled-up interest options, helping to reduce monthly cash flow pressures throughout the refurbishment period.
Asim Shirwani, head of bridging at GB Bank (pictured above), said: "The refurbishment market continues to present significant opportunities for investors looking to add value to properties and improve housing stock across the UK.
āOur bridging refurbishment finance proposition has been designed to give brokers and their clients access to fast, flexible funding that supports both light and medium refurbishment projects."
