Goldentree surpasses £10m in monthly bridging and development lending

The lender also completed site visits for a further £10.5m of lending

Goldentree has underwritten more than £10m in bridging and development lending in the last month.

The specialist lender also completed site visits for a further £10.5m of lending.

Among the latest completions was a net loan of just under £2m for a mixed-use development in south-west London, comprising a commercial property and three residential flats.

The facility refinanced the borrower's existing debt while releasing more than £300,000 in equity on day one, providing immediate liquidity to support the next phase of the project.

The development is being delivered by a contractor who has previously worked with Goldentree.

Beyond its lending activity, Goldentree continued investing in its broker network by hosting a broker padel networking event in Manchester, bringing together 16 brokers from across the development and bridging finance market.

With further events planned later this year, Goldentree said it remains committed to strengthening relationships across the industry.

Phil Derbyshire, managing director at Goldentree commented: “It’s been fantastic to see so much positive activity across the market.

Property finance has always been about building successful relationships. Fast decisions and flexible lending are important, but understanding our brokers and borrowers is equally valuable.

That’s what continues to drive our business and the long-term partnerships we’re proud to build.”
