Hope Capital appoints new head of finance and treasury

Hope Capital Property Finance has strengthened its finance team with the appointment of Harry Williams (pictured above, left) as head of finance and treasury.

The new role follows Kate Cowan’s (pictured above, right) promotion to chief financial and operating officer earlier this year and strengthens Hope Capital Property Finance’s finance and treasury function.

Harry will play a key role in supporting the lender’s growth, with responsibility spanning financial management, treasury and reporting across its funding lines.

Harry is an ACA-qualified accountant with extensive group reporting and financial management experience, gained through senior finance roles at INEOS Inovyn and Victrex plc.

His experience spans financial reporting, audit, working capital, cash flow and treasury, working across complex international businesses and demanding reporting cycles.

Harry commented: “I'm delighted to join Hope Capital Property Finance, what has stood out to me since joining is how closely the finance team works with colleagues across the business.

“In previous roles, I worked within larger group finance teams, so I’ve particularly enjoyed directly collaborating with underwriting, and post completions and seeing how each team contributes to delivering for borrowers.

“My experience has taught me the importance of accurate reporting and planning under tight deadlines.

“I’m looking forward to bringing that approach to this role as the business continues to grow.”
