Host of hires boosts our business

At Together, we know that getting the right people massively improves the services we can offer to brokers and, ultimately their customers, and that’s why we’ve created a new structure as we expand our dedicated broker relationship team.

We believe the expertise and knowledge of the market that these new colleagues bring will deepen the crucial relationships with the brokers we have worked closely with over the years, as well as opening up new opportunities for more intermediaries to work alongside us, to get the best outcomes for their clients.

Richard Tugwell, our group intermediary relationship director, heads up the new team, with myself and Laleta Buctkuar handling specialist lending and John Truswell as head of national accounts. John will focus on building intermediary relationships across the group – in both the personal finance and commercial businesses – as we widen our distribution.

Last month, we also welcomed Keith Jones, another colleague with vast experience of the mortgage industry. As a national account manager, Keith will join Nadine Edwards in developing relationships with new brokers to help us get our message of commonsense lending out more widely and ensure the intermediary market understands our ability to help in a wide variety of complex cases.

National business development manager Robert Oliver – whose career in financial services spans nearly 30 years – now heads up a team of nine business development managers, after three new colleagues joined last month. They are Chris Timms, Kitt Makwana and Paula Dowson, and they will be working with brokers in the Midlands, London and the North East respectively to increase awareness of our specialist products and our commonsense approach.

We believe this new team structure will allow us to continue to offer brokers the personal touch they expect from us, helping to cement our reputation as one of the UK’s leading specialist lenders.

It’s great to welcome the new team on board and is another exciting step towards the next chapter of our growth.
