HTB appoints new BDM for specialist mortgages

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has appointed Cain Lam (pictured above) as BDM within its specialist mortgages team.

In his new role, Cain will support brokers across London, working with intermediary partners on complex BTL and specialist property investment cases.

He succeeds Joseph Lethbridge, who has moved into a London key accounts role within the specialist mortgages team, reporting to Andrea Glasgow, sales director for specialist mortgages and bridging finance.

Cain joined HTB in 2024 as a loan administrator and has since progressed through a number of lending roles, including loans officer, loyalty lending manager and, most recently, senior loyalty lending manager.

During his time at the bank so far, he has developed extensive specialist lending expertise, working closely with brokers and colleagues on complex property investment cases before moving into this broker-facing role.
