LendInvest strengthens leadership team with sales director appointment

LendInvest Mortgages has announced the appointment of Matt Taylor (pictured above) as sales director.

Matt brings over 20 years of property finance experience, having started out at The Tipton Building Society before holding roles at InterBay Commercial and most recently as head of sales at Shawbrook.

Reporting directly to Darrell Walker, managing director for mortgages, Matt will oversee the company’s mortgage sales division and business development team.

In this role, he will be responsible for spearheading LendInvest’s intermediary sales strategy, accelerating distribution, and scaling lending volumes across the lender’s core BTL, bridging and residential propositions.

Matt will also focus on expanding the lender’s footprint across regional broker networks, working closely with field-based and internal BDMs to deliver seamless intermediary engagement and support the wider broker-led distribution model.

The lender recently announced over £10bn lent to landlords, SME developers and homeowners across the UK.
