Liam will work alongside former colleague Justin Cooper at the ‘productless’ lender.
In July, Octane Capital confirmed that Liam would be joining its senior management team, however the start date was not confirmed at the time.
Mark Posniak, managing director at Octane Capital, said: “Liam is a highly experienced BDM with fantastic technical knowledge and no end of contacts.
“There’s no doubt he will play a key role in helping us achieve the aggressive growth targets we have set ourselves.
“The fact that he has worked with many of the senior team here in the past will also serve him well and enable him to hit the ground running.”
Liam added: “There’s something special happening at Octane Capital and I want to be a part of it.
“I’ve worked with many of the senior management team in the past and to be with them from close to the start of their next big venture is a massive opportunity.
“What you have here is a small and entrepreneurial team vibe, big ambitions and the skills and expertise to achieve them.”
