The latest appointment sees Samantha Herd join from Bridgebank Capital as an underwriter, and as Mint’s 30th employee.

Samantha brings with her 10 years of property and underwriting experience and her arrival comes at a time when Mint has taken on more complex and unique loan enquiries.

“Our focus is now on developing our sales and underwriting teams, that aligns with our business plans to provide 100% handcrafted loans for every borrowers’ needs across England and Wales,” said Andrew Lazare, managing director of Mint Bridging (pictured above).

Mint has aggressively grown its legal, underwriting, credit control, quantity surveyor and business development divisions.

This means that Mint now provides a full, in-house service throughout the complete loan term.

It currently offers uniquely structured short-term bridging loans, up to £5m, to be used towards property purchases, refinance or development projects.

Andrew added: “It’s vital that we continue to maintain our high levels of customer service for increased referral and lending activities, while strengthening our broker relationships.”
