Mint Bridging appoints Head of Legal

Short term lender Mint Bridging has employed the expertise of an industry specialist as it lines up to make further announcements.

The appointment of Gaynor McCormick as Head of Group Legal is the first in a string of changes to be expected at privately-funded bridging lender Mint Bridging. Gaynor previously worked as the Head of Operations at Bridgebank Capital.

Mint Bridging’s Managing Director Andrew Lazare commented: “These are exciting times for Mint. We are experiencing a lot of positive changes and the expansion of Mint’s Bridging and funding services is going from strength to strength.”

“Gaynor’s appointment will improve the level of service offered to clients, brokers and professional advisers.  Over the next few weeks, Mint will be announcing the extended panel of solicitors and further additions to our team.”

She previously worked for leading city law firms such as Eversheds and Cantor Law. Her new role will be to streamline Mint Bridging’s legal process, drive efficiencies and ensure loans can be paid out as quickly as possible.  

Commenting on her new role, Gaynor said: “I am excited at the prospect of becoming part of such an ambitious company. The business is growing at a tremendous rate and I believe my lending experience can help Mint achieve its ambitious targets.”

Andrew added: “We are delighted that Gaynor has accepted this newly created role. Gaynor will develop our legal panel to cater for increased loan volumes and manage loan applications from credit approval to them being funded.”
