NACFB celebrates record expo

The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) has celebrated the success of last week's record-breaking Commercial Finance Expo (CFE)

On 15th June a record number of exhibitors gathered at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, the CFE’s largest floor space to date.

This growth was also reflected in visitors, with 1,700 attending the event.

An anonymous delegate said: “What a show… I would like to thank [the NACFB] and the whole team for an outstanding event and a record number of exceptional enquiries.”

Another told the NACFB: “[The CFE] is the best show we do all year bar none.”

One delegate claimed the “…the finance event of the year just keeps getting better”.

At the show, the NACFB launched a new Minimum Standards Document for members amid plans for an internal compliance team.

Fourteen of the NACFB’s biggest funders were represented on the CFE’s conference panels, including an American-style debate between traditional and alternative lenders.

An additional seven funders hosted less formal presentations in a ‘Meet the Experts’ seminar.

Founded in 1992, there are now 145 lenders in the NACFB.

Members include commercial mortgage lenders, asset finance and vehicle finance.
