NACFB launches recruitment drive
By Tom BelgerThe National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) has revealed it is on schedule to meet its ambitious expansion plans
The Association revealed the plans in its Road Map at the start of the year, with an aim to offer its members everything they need for a compliant and prosperous business.
As part of its growth plans, the NACFB is on the lookout for a personal assistant and office manager, where it aims to have both roles filled by July 1st.
The Association has also viewed 15 potential new office spaces in London.
“The impression we have been given is that it is currently a difficult market, which has allowed us to consider some really ‘different’ locations, while remaining committed to staying on our budgetary track for 2016,” the NACFB stated.
Its current office at Hamilton House can be expanded, but the NACFB said that it could require capital costs for some upgrade work.
“It is a suitable time to move on to the next phase, the fourth I believe for the Association, as we move forward and keep pace with the market.
“Our members will see further evidence of that growth in the products and services we will be offering in the second half of 2016 and through 2017 as well.”
The NACFB currently works with the direct support of over 1,600 individual brokers and 141 lenders, where it revealed last week that its members were on target to hit the £19bn lending mark.
“There is much more to this story than simply a handful of new staff members and a change of address.
“2016 will see the biggest changes of any year in the Association’s history.
“The momentum from the last eight years is now being converted into a step change in terms of how much our members can expect us to do for them.”
