New brokerage Orientis enters market with £3.4m central London bridging completion

Orientis, founded by Star Yixuan Hu (pictured above), has completed a £3.4m central London bridging transaction within weeks of launch.

The specialist finance brokerage, based in Mayfair, London, was launched last month.

Orientis provides structured real estate finance and revolving credit facilities, with a particular focus on high-net-worth individuals, East Asian investors and corporate clients active in the UK market.

The bridging facility was secured against a prime Central London mixed-use asset, purchased for £4,850,000 and valued at £5,195,000 — representing 70% LTC and 65% LTV.

The loan was structured with a development exit strategy, with planning approval for airspace development pending.

Mid-transaction, the original financing route was restructured, with a new lender brought in under tight timelines to secure the strongest leverage for the client.

Orientis pivoted strategy entirely, navigating multiple moving parts simultaneously while maintaining momentum and client confidence to execute the transaction through to completion.

The firm has developed a niche advising high-net-worth individuals, East Asian investors and corporates seeking access to UK real estate and commercial finance opportunities.

Beyond real estate finance, Orientis provides revolving credit facilities (RCF) to East Asian corporates, advising on broader commercial strategy and capital deployment into the UK market.
