Pivot Finance provides £3m land bridge for Southampton PBSA

Pivot Finance has provided a £3m land bridge facility for the acquisition of a prime city-centre site in Southampton, set to be transformed into 257 PBSA units.

This funding enables the developer to proceed with the delivery of 257 student units across a six-storey and three-storey building.

Pivot Finance completed the transaction within three weeks of the application and five weeks from when planning permission had been granted — speed was a factor due to the client needing to complete the purchase within a tight timeframe.

The ability to provide certainty of funding at pace was key to securing the site and allowing the client to move forward without delay.
