By Jordan WilliamsSpecialist lender Precise Mortgages has raised over £11,000 for the Chris Westwood Charity for Children with Physical Disabilities
The lender hosted a poker night that raised £3,540, alongside a silent auction that added £2,050 to the total. Precise then matched the money raised to bring the final tally to £11,180.
The event was attended by 180 mortgage professionals, including brokers, packagers, clubs, networks, conveyancers, journalists and Precise Mortgages employees.
The Chris Westwood Charity for Children with Physical Disabilities started in 2003 specifically to help children with disabilities in Stourbridge and the surrounding areas and provides financial help in funding the purchase of mobility equipment.
Alan Cleary, managing director of Precise, commented: “The event was a fantastic success and I can safely say that a great time was had by all.
“The event isn't just a chance to meet up and network with colleagues, it's also an opportunity to contribute towards the incredible work carried out by our nominated charity.”
Precise have announced that they’re already planning next year’s event at which they hope to raise even more money for charity.
