Bridging and development lender Roma Finance has joined the Association of Short Term Lenders in order to strengthen its service proposition to brokers.
The Manchester-based short term lender which provides loans for a wide range of property uses including residential and commercial investment, development, conversion and change of use, labelled its decision to join as ‘a logical step’.
Scott Marshall, Lending Director at Roma Finance, added: “Joining the ASTL was a logical step for us as we have recently launched our own charter and the working practices and ethics that members of the ASTL follow ties in perfectly with our business model and future growth plans. We intend to play a positive and active role in the ASTL and support their objectives for the bridging finance sector.”
Commenting on the new addition, Benson Hersch, Chief Executive of the ASTL said: “We very much welcome Roma Finance as a new member of the ASTL. The ASTL represents most of the key lenders in the market covering the whole of the UK. Roma Finance is a growing lender and we look forward to their participation in the ASTL.”
Roma Finance launched its own service charter for introducers last month in order to provide partners with clarity on how the lender operates.
