Scott Marshall wins entrepreneurial award

The awards recognise achievements by individuals who have demonstrated innovation, determination and proven results for their company.
Since its launch, Scott has helped Roma become a strong player in the bridging finance market.
This was helped by securing a funding facility from RBS just weeks after the Brexit vote, while it also grew its business by over 300% in the first half of 2016.
Scott said it was a tremendous honour to have won and was very proud of the achievement.
“I'm delighted with the award and would like to say a big thank you to my wife who’s supported me from setting up Roma Finance in 2008 to where we are now – a hugely successful finance lender.
“And also a big thank you to my team who have worked extremely hard to grow the business alongside me.”
Scott also recognised the importance of Roma being known nationally.
“From small and very humble beginnings, this award shows that all the effort and dedication has paid off and Roma Finance are now an established lender in the bridging market.
“It's been hard work, but well worth it.”
