SHC Capital partners with Ortus on bridging loan for £39m mixed property portfolio

SHC Capital has worked with Ortus Secured Finance to arrange a bridging loan for a £39m portfolio of retail, residential and commercial property — and land with planning permission — across London.
The portfolio includes 27 separate property titles spread across the capital, from central London to Kingston, Streatham, Wimbledon and Woolwich.
The borrower is part of a multi-generation family office with a wider portfolio of more than £1bn in UK real estate assets managed by an in-house asset manager.
With the borrower progressing a number of strategic investment initiatives simultaneously, speed of execution was crucial in the transaction.
SHC Capital and Ortus completed the transaction in 15 working days from instruction.
