Stamford completes Windsor and Glasgow transactions worth £1.4m in one day

Funding supports refurbishment and business cash flow

Section: Case Studies

Stamford Finance completed two capital raising facilities last week, including a £450,000 deal secured against a luxury single residential unit in Windsor and a £950,000 facility secured against a site with planning in Glasgow.

The Windsor deal completed in four days, with funds being used to cover refurbishment costs for another property.

A new valuation report was not needed which allowed a faster transaction.

The second completion involved a £950,000 equity release secured against an unencumbered site with planning in Glasgow, with the funds being used to support cash flow across the borrower's businesses.

Following a down valuation, Stamford had to revisit the original structure to release as much equity as possible without taking any additional security.

By increasing their position to reach its maximum leverage of 65% gross LTV, they were able to move forward.

Peter Beaumont, director at Stamford (pictured above), commented: “These two completions demonstrate our ability to take a pragmatic approach to our funding solutions, adapting facilities when required and moving quickly to get transactions over the line.”
