TAB has secured a £200m funding facility from GB Bank.
The new facility will support TAB Mortgage and TAB Bridge, the lender’s core commercial mortgage and bridging propositions.
This is TAB’s third funding line and supplements an existing institutional facility provided by global investment manager AB CarVal.
TAB founder and CEO Duncan Kreeger named the "challenger bank” behind the new funding line on LinkedIn.
“Today, we’re adding a new £200m facility with GB Bank,” posted Duncan.
“Another big step forward for TAB.
“This new facility sits alongside CarVal and our private investors.
"It complements them, giving us more options and more flexibility to support brokers and borrowers across commercial mortgages and bridging finance.
“Ultimately, that means being able to say YES to more good deals.”
The press announcement included a statement from a bank spokesperson that read: “As a purpose-driven, specialist lender combining deep expertise with agile execution, we have been looking for a partner that can deliver tailored lending solutions that fuel growth and create lasting impact across the UK.
“TAB fits that bill.
“We were attracted by the combination of underwriting expertise, technology and a clear focus on disciplined lending.”
