The FP Show: Worth its weight in gold

The inaugural Finance Professional Show has been a resounding success. Quality brokers attended the sold-out Show and numerous product news and industry debate highlighted within the day’s seminars.

The opening address of the Show was made by Lord Mitchell, Labour’s Enterprise Adviser. While summarising the recovery across UK financial markets, sustainable growth, and growing confidence within the marketplace, he also reaffirmed his stance on payday lenders.

He said:  “I will not rest until payday loans are regulated, interest rates are capped, rollovers limited and banning adverts.”
