Together makes board changes
By Charlotte RyanAppointments to aid board effectiveness, succession planning and oversight
Together has made board and committee changes to reflect an ongoing focus on board effectiveness, orderly succession planned and continued strong governance oversight.
Non-executive director Andy Higginson will be appointed to the newly created role of deputy chair from 1st October 2026. He will support chair Mike McTighe and the board in delivering their strategic and governance responsibilities.
Richard Fearon, formerly non-executive director, has been appointed chair of the group risk committee, bringing significant experience in risk management and financial services governance. Wayne Bowser will remain a board member and chair of the audit committee, ensuring continuity of oversight.
Within Together Personal Finance, current non-executive director John Hooper will succeed Richard Gregory as chair with effect from October 1st 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
This is part of a planned succession following Richard’s eight-year term. Richard will step down from the board on the same date. The board thanks him for his service and welcomes John to the role.
Together said it “remains committed to high standards of corporate governance and will continue to review its Board and Committee composition to support the long-term interests of its stakeholders.”
