Topland Vintage lends £24.4m for Belgravia residence

The bespoke facility enabled a UHNW family to refinance an existing loan

Topland Vintage has completed a £24.4m senior loan facility secured against a freehold residence in Belgravia, central London.

The transaction was introduced by Mantra Group. Structured at 60% LTV, the bespoke 18-month facility was funded entirely from Topland's own balance sheet and enabled a UAE-based ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) family to refinance an existing loan from a private bank.

Anish Vora, director of structured finance at Topland, commented: “Prime central London remains a core market for us, and this transaction reflects our conviction in the sector.

“As we lend from our own balance sheet, we move with speed and certainty and will structure around the specific needs of the borrower.

“We have built a strong working relationship with Mantra over the past couple of years and look forward to continuing this collaboration.”

Nimesh Sanghrajka, managing director at Mantra Group, which introduced the transaction, said: “Together with Topland we have worked hard to understand the needs, capabilities and financial structure of our client in order to deliver what is best value for them going forwards.

“Topland gave our client complete confidence in its ability to deliver, which is a testament to its expertise, market knowledge and conviction within this sector.”
