Ex-Amicus Finance director joins Target Group as CFO




Target Group has appointed an ex-Amicus Finance director as it new chief financial officer (CFO).

Iestyn Evans (pictured above) joins from Amicus Finance PLC, where he held the position of group finance director and was responsible for supporting the creation of a specialist bank.

Prior to joining Amicus Finance, Iestyn also held senior leadership roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Cambridge & Counties Bank and Omni Partners LLP.

At Target, Iestyn will report to CEO Ian Larkin and will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company as well as helping to drive its ambitious growth plans.

Commenting on his appointment, Iestyn felt Target was a dynamic business and that now was a very exciting time to be joining.

“It has just posted its fourth consecutive year of growth and is geared up to continue its impressive trajectory following the acquisition by Tech Mahindra last year.

“It is a major player in business process outsourcing and operational transformation across a range of sectors and continues to go from strength to strength. 

“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining such a significant success story.”

Meanwhile, Ian added that he was delighted to welcome Iestyn to the team.

“He brings extensive market knowledge that is directly relevant to our business and to our clients and he has a great attitude to work and life. 

“Iestyn is an important addition to our executive team and I look forward to working with him as we continue to help our clients to achieve their goals as we pursue our ambitious strategy.”
