LandlordInvest passes £5m lending milestone

LandlordInvest has now lent more than £5m to professional landlords through its P2P platform since its inception.

The P2P lending platform has lent £5,209,745 across 25 bridging and buy-to-let loans, earning its investors, on average, returns in excess of 11% per annum.

Filip Karadaghi, chief executive at LandlordInvest, said that it was delighted to have passed another milestone in the company’s short history and sees the platform going from strength to strength.

“The latest figures show that LandlordInvest is becoming an established alternative source of financing to professional landlords in a time when regulation and tax changes continue making it more difficult to obtain financing from traditional lenders.

“At the same time, LandlordInvest’s investors have been able to earn double-digit returns by lending to an asset-backed product secured by residential or commercial property, beating the inflation rate and exceeding the returns offered by many other traditional asset classes, such as bonds and stocks.

“Those investors that invest through the Isa-wrapper are able to enhance their returns further.”
