Octane Capital expands internal sales team

Octane Capital has appointed George Lyall (pictured above) as an internal business development associate.

George will report to the specialist lender’s head of internal sales, Oli Greenspan.

He will work alongside brokers and Octane’s BDMs to ensure that the loan process – from enquiry to completion – is quick and seamless.

George joins from Australian residential lender Millbrook Mortgage Management, where he worked on complex and non-conforming loans.

He has also served as a commercial credit analyst at La Trobe Financial Services, where he assessed and reviewed applications from mortgage brokers around Australia.

George said: “Octane Capital has already shown itself to be a major force in specialist lending and joining such an experienced team was too good an opportunity to pass up.

“I'm already loving my role of dealing with brokers and BDMs out on the road, a growing number of whom are waking up to the many benefits of productless lending.

“Octane’s flexibility means it does things a little bit differently, and it’s exciting to be part of this growing and ambitious team.”

Mark Posniak, managing director at Octane Capital, added: “The move from Australia will be a big change for George, but he's already settled in and there's no doubt that his expertise and enthusiasm will see him thrive in his new role.

“George joins us with years of experience liaising with BDMs and brokers and this will stand him in great stead as he gets to grips with the processes and structures at Octane.”
