HTB bolsters specialist business finance division

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has strengthened its specialist business finance division with two appointments.

Louise McIntosh has been promoted to operations director and Nigel Pearce has joined as a senior underwriter.

Louise and Nigel will be based in HTB’s London office and report to Jon Maycock, managing director of specialist business finance (pictured above), and Andrew Woodhouse, credit and risk director, respectively.

Louise has played a key role in driving the growth of the specialist business finance division since she joined the bank in June 2018.

She has 15 years of operational and change management experience in the industry, and previously served at Amicus Finance PLC, where she project managed the launch of its commercial mortgages division.

Prior to that, she worked at Aldermore.

Nigel joins HTB from Distribution Finance Capital Limited, where he served as risk director, and was previously head of credit at Paragon Bank.

“I would like to congratulate Louise on her promotion, this is a recognition of her technical ability and specialist knowledge, she has played a pivotal role in driving the success of our business strategy,” said Jon.

“We are delighted to welcome Nigel to our growing team, he is a recognised industry leader with extensive market expertise and an outstanding track record.

“Louise and Nigel are proving invaluable as we build our proposition through innovation, expertise and first-rate customer service.”
